Akari Kenzo never expected his life to be cruel. From the moment he was born, his father hated him. He blamed Akari for the death of his mother. It wasn't his fault, but losing a loved one can do fucked up things to a person's mind.

Akari's quirk is complicated, and troublesome, to say the least. With two horns protruding from his head, a pair of bat-like wings on his back, and a leathery tail that had a spearhead-shaped tip, his appearance is deemed by many as being demonic. This, of course, gave Akari's father even more of a reason to hate him, as well as the rest of society. Quirks like Akari's, ones that are "evil", unusual, and dangerous, are seen as villainous quirks. Akari had no chance of showing people who he was. His quirk was enough for people to turn and run, seeing Akari as a bad person.

Akari's life at home is rough, but it gets even worse when his father sends Akari away. He may never be able to escape his dark days, but who knows, maybe something, or someone, will come along and save him.
