Tommy's wings fluff up as Wilbur brushes his hand over, and he hisses at the ache it causes.
Wilbur's touch was like a bucket of ice to Tommy's burning skin. Each stroke is slow and gentle, erasing the knots of tension that had settled in his wings for so long. If Tommy had known Wilbur would be so gentle, he would've never waited so long to ask him. The pain in his wings slowly begins to ease as Wilbur's fingers dance around, smoothing out ruffled feathers.
Wilbur's touch is so comforting, a gentle weight on his wings easing the aches and dull throbs. Tommy felt as if nothing else existed, as if it were only them in this moment. Tommy could hear Wilbur's gentle hum as he worked the knots and tangles within his wings, a low sound that vibrated Wilbur's chest and made his heart soar.
Wilbur runs his hand through Tommy's flight feathers, taking extra care with the area. His fingers gently brush over each feather, swiping away bits of dirt and smoothing out broken feathers. The troubled expression on Tommy's face settles, and his eyes flutter closed as he melts into the feeling of being taken care of and loved.

Tommy and SBI centric fanfic (my first dsmp sbi fanfic reuploaded. completed on Ao3) After giving up his discs for the sake of L'manburg, they were finally able to claim their independence. Wilbur was proud to instate his younger brother as the vice president. Though recently Tommy had been acting a little stranger than usual, clinging to him and Tubbo more often than usual, collecting random shiny objects that catch his eye, and "borrowing" his and Tubbo's blankets to make a large nest in his room. Tommy finally found him by the beach. They hadn't been back there in what felt like forever, it seemed like years ago Tommy had found the older male injured and bleeding in the forest. "So, you've been here all day," The blonde said to announce his presence but the other didn't seem to notice or bother signaling he did. Tommy took a careful step forward but stopped a few feet away from the seated male. "Everyone's been worried," "They shouldn't be," Dream said softly. Tommy frowned. He took notice the other's mask was resting on the ground to his left and felt his confusion rise. "Why not?" He decided to humor the other. Dream sighed heavily and looked up to the sky causing his hood to pool around his shoulders. "Am I a bad person, Tommy?" The teen's heart stopped, Dream went on. "Did I really do all those bad things?" His head lowered once more and his shoulders shook slightly. "How bad did I hurt you?" He whispered. Cross-posted from AO3 under the same username. Bad Dream
His eyes, usually dull and sad, were ablaze with anger and hatred. He was done with Dream, he was done letting people hurt him, he was done with L'manburg and how much pain that place alone had brought him. "It's a place that only holds sorrow and fear now, Tommy." Wilbur had said, his brown eyes dull as he spoke. "It's brought grief even to us, hasn't it." Wilbur looked at Tommy before he continued. "It's not the place I built, L'manburg not the place that you and I loved." How right Tommy realized Wilbur was. The place he had once called home was no more than a breeding house for the chaos and sadness that now plagued the SMP. He wished he hadn't been so blind in the beginning, listened to Wilbur. But he had hoped that L'manburg wasn't a lost cause, that what he had fought so hard for was still salvageable. But he knew that L'manburg was always meant to fall, and they had only delayed it's downfall. "I-I'm sorry Wilbur... I should have listened to you." He whispered out, he knew his brother couldn't hear him but he could hope that his words would travel into the afterworld to reach his ears. "Please forgive me." He wiped his tears away vigorously, looking towards the now-destroyed nether portal. "I'll finish what you started... I'll do what should have been done." The teen exclaimed, holding him tighter as the realisation that Wilbur finally knew his name settled in. 'Tommy, he has a name tag...' 'I know? His name is Soot apparently.' -- Wilbur is a cat hybrid living as a street cat who is adopted by the rest of SBI. Problem is, they think he's only a cat and Wilbur thinks that's all them want him as.
