If you told Adelia Miltin a few years ago that witches and wizards existed, she would have called you mad. Yet, here she was, about to enter a school meant for aspiring witches and wizards as a new 7th year student. She thought her only worries were going to be taking care of her ailing grandmother, not learning how to fly a broom. Not only will she have to traverse through the halls of Hogwarts, but she will also have to navigate her new life filled with Ancient Magic, budding friendships, and an insufferable Slytherin named Sebastian Sallow.

If you told Sebastian Sallow that his semester would start with a failed duel on his part, he would have called you a liar. Yet, here he was, named second-best by the hands of a new student, someone who could hardly hold their wand correctly. He thought his biggest worries this year were going to be discovering what happened to his parents, but now he also must fight for his title as best duelist back from an incompetent Hufflepuff named Adelia Miltin.

This is a slow burn Sebastian x fMC fic that will explore life before the curse and develop characters and relationships. This may be a slow read with a few episodic chapters since I want the reader to feel like they are going to school with the characters. There will be plenty of fluff in the beginning and angst in later chapters. While the fic does follow the main storyline from the game, I have added/removed/changed events/characters to suit my story.
