Thor Odinson has once again restored peace to the nine realms and eliminated the threat of Ragnarok, effectively saving his world. This should be cause for celebration but all is not right on Asgard during his absence. When he digs deeper, Thor discovers that Loki lives and has been masquerading as Odin for some time now. In an effort to recover the king, both Thor and Loki travel to earth in time to learn a startling revelation- Thor is not Odin's firstborn. That title belongs to Hela, the goddess of death, and she has returned to claim the nine realms, promising to drench all of creation in blood. Meanwhile on earth, after being freed from prison following his defiance of the law, Dean Allen is a fugitive on the run. Determined to find Thor and aid him in his quest to prevent a cosmic threat, he embarks on a journey that will take him far from earth to the blood-soaked arenas of Sakaar and into a deadly clash of gods. Rey never wanted to live in Sakaar. But when she found herself there, there was no going back. She was "potential" in the Grandmasters eyes. He wanted her to fight the champion or capture people who would. Being the Asgardian Goddess of War, she knew she would kill the champion. So she refused to do either because she also knew how brutal he was and never wanted to put anyone else in that position. But when another certain Asgardian is captured and he persuades her to escape and go back to Asgard with him, she must choose to either fight the champion and the Goddess of Death with him, and go against her morals, or stay in Sakaar and continue to go stir crazy in a prison. ~ #1 IN GOD OF THUNDER (May-June 2019) #1 IN TESSA THOMPSON (July 2019) #5 IN CHRIS HEMSWORTH (July 2019)
