Maddie is a troubled young woman who has a secret, she has been cursed by a witch that was scorned by her father long before she was born. And now Maddie's life is in turmoil in New Orleans, as the reality of Vampires, Witches and Werewolves becomes all too much when she begins to fall for the hybrid Klaus Mikealson.  Together they try and break Maddie's curse but the cost of breaking it is tragic for everyone... but especially Maddie.
