I'm learning Tagalog in order to speak with my nanay better, so this is mostly writing practice. I heard writing a diary in your target language helps the learning process, so this is what I'm doing :>
Earlier entries will probably be written in Taglish due to me not having a very big vocabulary...

Hopeful Hearts (COMPLETED)
Mahal na niya ito mula pa noong sila ay mga bata. Magkaibigan sila at si Iris ay umibig sa kanya ngunit tinanggihan siya nito. Pumunta ito sa Paris para iwasan siya. Sinundan ni Iris si Timothy sa Paris ngunit hindi niya ito nakita. Bago siya bumalik sa Pilipinas, nakita niya ito, kasama ang isang babae. Nagpasyang bumalik na siya sa Pilipinas at ituloy ang pangarap niyang maging abogada. Di nagtagal, nalaman niya na nagpakamatay ang kasintahan ni Timothy at ito ay lubos na nasasaktan dahil hindi niya ito nailigtas. Sinubukan nitong magpakamatay dahil sa pagkadismaya. Ngunit, pinauwi siya ng kanyang mga magulang sa Zambales at inayos ang kasal para sa kanya. Pinalitan ni Iris ang kasintahan nito bilang kanyang mapapangasawa. Ngunit ayaw niya rito, gayunpaman, hindi niya mababago ang desisyon ng kanyang mga magulang at sila ay nagpakasal. Trinato niya ito ng malamig dahil hindi pa rin niya nakakalimutan ang trahedya. Sinisisi niya ang sarili sa lahat at sinubukan pang magpakamatay muli.Complete

Dear diary, It's 2009. Wordpress is in [Wattpad is not yet out]. Uso sa munting school namin ang magsulat. Sis lahat naging instant authors.
