The revelation that his possessed magic came too late, and the weight of his stockpiled taxes was enough to drown him in debt. Left with no choice, Enoch had to seek a guild to earn the gold he so desperately needed. Yet, no guild would accept a mage struggling to harness his own abilities-except for one. What Enoch soon discovered was that to join this unheard group of misfits, he would have to delve into the shadows. Huddled in an abandoned house, these cloaked people were nothing he came to knowledge about guilds, mages, or magic in general.
