poetry

the colors i once wielded with ease, now lay forgotten in a dusty breeze. my brushes, once a conduit of expression, now sit stiff and lifeless, a sad reflection. for life has taken hold, and with it brought the challenges of adulthood, so dearly bought. yet still i yearn to paint, to let my soul soar, to create something beautiful, forevermore.
