But the thing is, the creatures are dumb.

And they end up making fools of themselves as they struggle to catch her.

A man has an opportunity to right one wrong from his past and realizes the true meaning of regret. Another man's senses are replaced one by one with something alien. A golfer in the aftermath of the apocalypse sets out on a quest to keep the game he loves alive. A conversation between two sides of one man's psyche reveals something in us all. A snowbound woman holds the fate of the world literally in her hands. Once all sides of the box are revealed, the homeless man discovers the promise of a new future built on memories from a past he never had. The Box Has Twelve Sides is a collection of thirteen stories all connected as visions given to a homeless man in search of his future. (Chapters are in English) Her scale like skin glimmered in the sun like vibrant, red diamonds as she stepped down onto earth. Her eyes were a beautiful golden glaze that only seemed to shine brighter when hit with the sun's glow. Her body was toned with muscles, as if she were born with them. Her hair was a deep black, neatly decorated into long, patterned braids that stopped just at her lower back. And scars adorned her front and back torso. 💫 Things were not meant to be like this. She had just reached her coming of age, she was supposed to be celebrating with her ງ๏ภคร, and yet here she was on her family's ship sailing off into space away from what used to be her home planet. What used to be a beautiful, scarlet planet filled with wonderful clouds, beautiful forests, gorgeous mountains, and vast-less oceans, it was now filled with black smoke as bits and pieces of the planet itself drifted off into space. *Any and all pictures and/or videos used in this story do NOT belong to me

I stroke her hair and whisper "cry and let it all out, don't bottle it up." As these words leave my mouth I can feel her body start shaking, seconds later she is crying. Clutching my shirt and crying like the whole universe is coming to an end, like her world has toppled down. She is in pain, and her pain is damn deep. But before anything else happens, she backs away, leaving my body cold and in need for her. She wipes her tears with the back of her hand and speaks, the letters heavy on her throat "I don't need you, I hate you." Her words stab me a hundred times, I wish I had died before hearing these words come out of her mouth. It is like getting run over by a truck but worse. Like getting hit with a lightning but worse. She walks away from me, and goes looking for Doruk. I watch as she finds him and leads him to the car. I don't just stop here, I move. I go toward my car and follow them. There is no going back. She'll be mine. (Sequel to In My Blood)

Love, peace, and a warm, comfortable life. All of them are looking for a companion to share their lives with and to help them fight their dark side; they want a shoulder to lean on when they feel vulnerable and a warm hug to embrace them after a long, tiring day. That's what most of them wished to own; this is exactly what they've been desperately seeking. Are they going to have what they desire? Or will the future be hard on them, making them suffer first before fulfilling what they yearned for? Small peak. She only looked at him dejectedly but was more determined to never stay. She reached her limit; she looked at her brother and mother, who were holding him to prevent him from reaching her, and smiled brokenly.
