But the thing is, the creatures are dumb.

And they end up making fools of themselves as they struggle to catch her.

Not His Girl
I stroke her hair and whisper "cry and let it all out, don't bottle it up." As these words leave my mouth I can feel her body start shaking, seconds later she is crying. Clutching my shirt and crying like the whole universe is coming to an end, like her world has toppled down. She is in pain, and her pain is damn deep. But before anything else happens, she backs away, leaving my body cold and in need for her. She wipes her tears with the back of her hand and speaks, the letters heavy on her throat "I don't need you, I hate you." Her words stab me a hundred times, I wish I had died before hearing these words come out of her mouth. It is like getting run over by a truck but worse. Like getting hit with a lightning but worse. She walks away from me, and goes looking for Doruk. I watch as she finds him and leads him to the car. I don't just stop here, I move. I go toward my car and follow them. There is no going back. (Chapters are in English) Her scale like skin glimmered in the sun like vibrant, red diamonds as she stepped down onto earth. Her eyes were a beautiful golden glaze that only seemed to shine brighter when hit with the sun's glow. Her body was toned with muscles, as if she were born with them. Her hair was a deep black, neatly decorated into long, patterned braids that stopped just at her lower back. And scars adorned her front and back torso. 💫 Things were not meant to be like this. She had just reached her coming of age, she was supposed to be celebrating with her ງ๏ภคร, and yet here she was on her family's ship sailing off into space away from what used to be her home planet. To Be Loved
There are different people who live on this planet who have different personalities, body shapes, and skin colors, but all of them are looking for the same thing. Love, peace, and a warm, comfortable life. All of them are looking for a companion to share their lives with and to help them fight their dark side; they want a shoulder to lean on when they feel vulnerable and a warm hug to embrace them after a long, tiring day. That's what most of them wished to own; this is exactly what they've been desperately seeking. Are they going to have what they desire? Or will the future be hard on them, making them suffer first before fulfilling what they yearned for? Small peak. "If you cross that door, then consider that you have no family; you will be dead to us." Her father shouted at her. She looked at her feet, thinking, what did she hope to hear from him? She turned around and looked at him dead in the eyes. "Have I ever been alive to you, dad? Have you ever for once treated me as your daughter, a part of this family?" She said it with a trembling voice. Her father was fuming with anger. "Then leave, and put that in your mind; the moment you close this door behind you, you are DEAD TO US," he yelled at her. She only looked at him dejectedly but was more determined to never stay. She reached her limit; she looked at her brother and mother, who were holding him to prevent him from reaching her, and smiled brokenly.
Redemption's Song and other short stories

This volume consists of anything more than 1000 words and includes new works, re-writes of a few older pieces and anything else I found on my computer that I'd forgotten to post before. It will contain steampunk, historical fiction, urban fantasy, science fiction, fantasy, slipstream, sci-fantasy, horror, paranormal, general oddity and anything else that happens to fall out of my ears as ideas formulate into stories.
