Jaune was sent to the Ark, once there he was able to convince the officials to enroll into the military academy. After passing with flying colors, he becomes a commander of a squad named the Counters.
Suddenly a portal opens and Jaune and the Counters are sent to Remnant, Jaune and his squad rush in to assist the civilians in the area, afterwards he's approached by his old team.
