A stormtrooper learns the hard truth about the Empire when she's detained by the Rebellion following an intense battle. As she tries to adjust to her new life in the custody of her enemies, she catches the interest of young Jedi Luke Skywalker, who she fears and resents for his role in the destruction of the first Death Star four years prior. However, as she spends more time with him she finds that he's not the demon that the Empire had made him out to be, and begins to develop a fondness toward him; feelings that unbeknownst to her, he's beginning to reciprocate.

Having never seen the galaxy except for what was visible from his singular window, Luke decides to go with the Mandalorian when he leaves. Specific story warnings at the beginnings of each chapter, but the biggest one is an ongoing theme of overcoming child abuse (though it is not explicit and not talked about often past the first couple of chapters) so I would like to share some resources: Abuse of any kind is never okay.
