Olivia and Jeremiah have been friends forever. Since the first summer of their lives really.
Olivia's family, as well as the Conklin and Fisher family have been going to Susannah's beach house in Cousins Beach every summer.
Since the pair was young, Susannah believed that Olivia and Jeremiah were destined to be together. She would always say one of the boys, (Jeremiah, Conrad, or Steven) but deep down everyone knew she wanted it to be Jeremiah.
This summer was different though. All the kids were grown up. And friendships get twisted and changed to something else.

Lucy Mae grew up in Pennsylvania with her dad in his 2 bedroom apartment. They don't get along well. She thinks he blames her for her moms death when she was young . She's probably right.. Lucy's mom was best friends with laurel and susannah at one point in her life that's how lucy came to going to cousins beach every summer and having countless sleepovers at the conklins house. But the school year was rough. She had a falling out with belly and Taylor. She hasn't texted with jeremiah or conrad in months other things happened that no one really knows about susannah and laurel were good at keeping her secret. Steven knew everything of course he was her best friend through all of it. This summer ought to be interesting....
