Finding Me

Sometimes we are not grateful for what we have. But what if you don't have anything at all to be grateful for?

Homeless. That's what Melissa Maxx is. She's homeless- no home, no education, no food...You name it. 15 years of age- almost 16. Melissa's been all alone ever since she was 5...No one really helps her...She has...No one. Her story has been unheard about and the only person who knows of it is...Melissa herself. *Story* She had parents up until she was 5, they got sick one day and they couldn't afford anything as well because they were also living on the street.

A few days after Melissa's 5th birthday, her parents died. Just there on the street and no one noticed. She didn't know how to ask people to help because she was still young, so she left her parents there, made them a little memorial place, said, "I love you," then she ran away. *Present* 10 years later, she is still alive, but still trying to hang on. One day, a miracle happens. Melissa finds herself having a normal life...And eventually, she gets a definition of love, everything she needs, she finally has something to be grateful for and most importantly, she finds herself in this world.
