I wiped my eyes once again to see deep piercing green ones looking down at me. More tears came as I saw the root of my anger, and I stood up pushing past him. I tried to run but got pulled back by a hand grabbing my wrist. "What happened?" Clyde demanded angrily. "Get off of me!" I growled and pried his fingers off my wrist and continued to the bathroom. Once inside I went into a stall and grabbed some toilet paper to wipe my face. Why was I always crying? I heard the door open and I tried to contain my sniffling so that they wouldn't hear. Then I looked down to see the feet and saw Clyde crawling under my stall. ~~~~~ Alexa Moore is a crybaby. She can't deal well with her emotions; if she is frustrated, angry, sad, mad, or hurt she can't help but cry. She hates that she always feels the need to cry and tries to stay happy by being unconfrontational, and staying away from jerks. Clyde Wood is seemingly heartless. Through the bad, sad, hurtful, and pissing situations he appears to be tougher than nails. Sure he is happy most times, but in the eyes of many he is a heartless jerk that picks on everyone. If it wasn't for his great looks he'd probably be with the Gothic kids, not the popular ones. That, and he made a hobby of being a player. Alexa meeting Clyde was definitely a recipe for disaster, causing her to shed more tears than in her entire 17 years. The year goes from good to bad to good to bad, and end bad? With so much heart churning events, will there really be a rainbow after the storm?

"Why don't you leave me?" I shouted, trying to mask away the fear that filled inside of me this time. "Oh Darling I wish I could." He smirked, almost leaning onto me. I could still feel the authority in his husky arrogant voice. "Don't you fear Allah?" I questioned him and soon began to realise that my hijab was falling loose. This can't be happening, atleast not in front of him. I cried within the walls of my heart. He didn't deserve my love. "Don't teach me about Islam. Mind your own fucking business." He spat back. He surely had anger issues but unlike everybody else I always stood up to him. I didn't want to give him the satisfaction that he derived from dominating everyone, but today I felt weak, weaker than ever before. "My business? Well guess what mister you are my business. Remember you were the one who married me forcefully?" I tried pushing him back but all my efforts were in vain. "You know that I can do a lot of things forcefully but I don't. So be thankful bitch." He Snapped, hitting my heart exactly where it was weak. Tears soon filled my vision but I held them back. "Why? Aren't those girls enough to satisfy you?" I pointed back to his girlfriend who stood behind him half naked. "Enough!" He shouted, his grip tightened around my arms and I knew that I had pushed him off limits by now but guess what? He deserved it. *** She was not your typical girl because she knew the hard reality of life. She was a hard core feminist. Getting married at age 23 to a self centered lawyer who viewed me as more of his little prodigé than his actually wife was not what I wanted. Becoming a defense attorney at a record age to a company own by said husband that I'll never be taken seriously in was definitely not what I wanted. And making my parents happy by completely shutting down any hopes and dreams I've ever had. was absolutely not what I wanted. "Nope." I shook my head, glancing between the priest and Jake, my soon-to-be, as I yanked my hands out of his. "W-what?" He stuttered, looking back at me mortified along with everyone else in the chapel. "Fuck this." I shook my head, as I lifted my dress and quickly made my way back down the isle that was littered with people I'd never seen before. So, few hours later and I'm on the first flight to Maine. Why? Well, shit happens. *this book is unedited
