Mystery
Elliot wakes up in a 10x10-foot concrete room illuminated by a single lightbulb hanging above him. He leaves the room and enters a hallway filled with secrets lingering in the rooms. As he goes through countless doors, it daunts him that he is not alone. What seems like an intriguing journey through endless rooms quickly grows sinister when he hears faint screaming throughout the halls. Will he make it out, or will he dig himself into a hole so deep that the chances of escape slip right off his fingers? Read to find out. What sparked the idea of this story was a prompt from Reedsy Prompts. The prompt was "Set your story in an eerie, surreal setting."
