He built his empire on ruthlessness, on decisions made without a single flicker of compassion. The word "love" was a foreign concept to him, a vulnerability he had long ago purged from his system. He had never met anyone who could make him question his own power, let alone someone he would sacrifice for. She saw the world not as it was, but as it could be-a place of endless fun and kindness. Her laughter was contagious, her spirit a whirlwind of energy. She approached every person and situation with an honest, open heart, completely unaware of the complexities and cruelties of the adult world. She was a breath of fresh air, a pure soul who had never been cynical, never been hurt, and never lost her childlike joy. Their love story began not with grand gestures, but with the subtle shift in two hearts-one that had never loved, and one that was just learning what it felt like to be loved so completely.
