Valerie is a stripper in NYC after moving to escape family trauma. Kicked out of her motel, she is "forced" to flirt with an annoyingly hot guy so he'll take her as his roommate. She gets the position, and the longer Alex spends with Valerie the mor he thinks she's not just the over-confident stripper she comes across as, and the more he sees her with her clients the more he seethes. Valerie doesn't understand why, but the more she lives with Alex, the more vulnerable he becomes and she finds herself falling for someone she thought she hated.
