A girl who had been lost in grief after her mother's passing had been awakened in the most unexpected way. 

The boy who kept to himself and had a distaste for company had found an unexpected companion. 

Perhaps it was part of human nature, to be drawn towards what we could not understand, perhaps its part of who we are to want to understand the things we could not. Perhaps, it was the red string of fate that connected them. Whether it was fate, or human instinct, or something completely different, they had been drawn together and they have gone far too close to turn back, not that they would want to.
