"Do you think your family will ever approve of our friendship?" The young deity asked his beloved friend.

The youth sighed deeply before turning to their body to face their friend. "To be honest, no. As unfortunate as it is to admit it, they're just too...overprotective...." The adolescent sighed again.

The future monarch frowned. She was upset that she had to keep her and Y/N's relationship a secret from Y/N's family. But they knew that if their relationship got out to Y/N's family...it wouldn't be good.

A few minutes of silence passed before Eret decided to break it again. "Y'know, we're kinda like Cinderella and The Prince in a way."

Y/N, being confused, asked "What do you mean?"

The daemon smiled before replying. "Well, I'm the prince because of obvious reasons, and you're Cinderella because of your restrictive family household!" The young immortal finished. 'And I have a huge crush on you...' she thought silently.

The young countess scoffed and chuckled lowly. "E...for one, you're not looking for a wife at a ball-you're a kid. And two, I don't have a a horrible step-family that makes me a maid." Y/N concluded raising their eyebrow.

Eret chuckled. "Alright alright, you have a point. Hmm... what about instead of Cinderella and The Prince, we're Persephone and Hades?" She questioned.

Y/N smiled softly when they answered. "Yeah...yeah I like that."
