Luz has had to survive pretty much her whole life. Being known as an outcast, and an orphan, Luz has had to push away her true self, and when she finally is around people who care about her, she doesn't know what to do with that love and is scared she might ruin her one chance to be herself again.

Being thrown into a war much more significant than they ever knew Luz and Amity must face and overcome multiple obstacles if they want to find the cure this new world so desperately needs. It wouldn't be easy and with Luz hiding a much darker secret of her own what would come of them? One thing for certain, this new journey would be far more treacherous than the first.
