I'll Be Your Strength

I pointed at the sky and said, "Look."
"What?" Ori questioned.
"It's a shooting star, just wait."
We waited for it to fly across the sky and when it started I said, "See! Make a wish!"
She smiled but closed her eyes and silently made a wish, and I did the same.
"Done." She said, "What'd you wish for?"
"I can't tell you!" I replied
She giggled at me and exclaimed, "Why not!?!" "
Because then it won't come true!"
"Wow gee," She remarked while rolling her eyes "Well I wished to live for a long time"
We sat on the blanket in silence as we reminisced on her wish.
"You said it out loud, Ori."
"Yeah...You don't actually believe in this stuff, right?" she raised her eyebrow at me and I bit my lip, "Better safe than sorry."
