Twenty-nine-year-old Noelani Leon Guerro never thought the first wedding she'd ever be invited to would be her ex-husbands.
When Noelani is invited to stay a week before the wedding in an Airbnb in San Antonio she is urged to go and show Asher Morgan what he lost. Noelani is unsure if he'd be impressed by what she's become in the two years they've divorced. A rejected author, a partnerless romantic, and a coward afraid to give anything and anyone new a chance. When she arrives at the Airbnb she is relieved to see she is far from the only person to receive an invitation. Among the partygoers is the property owner's nephew, Fei Hak, who determines why Noelani is the only invited member not excited about the wedding. When he asks her if she'd like help with coming up with a plan to get Asher to choose her she agrees knowing she has a week to recall everything that went wrong with Asher and her. Then, figure out a way to make everything finally go right.
