~Book one to Valerie's Story~
Jedi Knight Valerie Ortis story began long before meeting her beloved Bad Batch. Found as an infant by the Jedi Counsel's Master Plo Koon, she found her new life at the Jedi Temple and began working her way on becoming a Jedi Master.
Except one thing.
She's an outsider, an outcast. None of the other younglings talk to her and she doesn't help herself by isolating herself from the other younglings. Until she meets her first friend. Together they spent the next few years training together at the Jedi Temple. That is until the council decided that they are ready to become Padawan's and she meets her master.
Jedi Master Drake Amon.
A Jedi who had no interest in wanting a padawan at first, but Valerie unknowingly made her way through his tough exterior. Master Amon is a tough teacher and she's tough to teach but the two of them somehow form a strong bond. She's finally found a family where she belongs. Her journey is a harsh one but with the help of The Clone Battalion 671st she gains the confidence one needs to become a strong Jedi and before long she's taking her trials to becoming a Jedi Knight. But can she handle her newfound knight-ship? Or does she throw it away?

This is a prequel to my story 'The Bad Batch Aftermath.' A story I'll be working on while we all wait for TBB season 3, I will of course put in the references of Valerie's past I referenced from Aftermath and there will be many references from the TV show Star Wars The Clone Wars.

Vella Delaba had been raised as a peacekeeper, a knight. But by necessity, she'd become a warrior and had fought in many wars. She'd been a padawan in the Clone Wars and had joined in the battle against the tyrannical Empire. But no matter how many fights she came back from, she was never prepared for what she'd lose. The Jedi had been slandered, their once loved name became mud beneath a blurrgs feet. She had fought battles civilians couldn't and was now branded a traitor. Her past haunted her. The Jedi haunted her. The Force haunted her. But no matter how much she ran, it always caught up. The Galactic Republic was long gone, the Jedi were dead, even the Empire had been defeated. She'd lived through all of it, all because she'd ignored and hidden one of the most important things about her. The war was over, the Rebellion had won, the Empire was gone. So why was she still struggling to find where she fit in the mix of it? She was a Jedi. Where did a Jedi fit into a galaxy that hadn't seen one for nearly thirty years? The Bad Batch Aftermath{TechxOC}
~Book two to Valerie's story~ What was only one mistake turned out to be the very thing that possibly saved her life. Newly appointed Jedi-Knight Valerie Ortis thinks her old way of life is over. She made a mistake and she knows that but that doesn't stop her master from removing her from the one family she's come to know. Now she's stuck with this new team that she had no interest joining at first, but after spending some time in the care of Clone Force 99 she starts to question her jedi training. New feelings that she's never truly experienced before start to come into play and she doesn't know what to do. Should she choose to pursue her feelings towards a certain member? Or follow the Jedi Code? Valerie is of course going to follow her orders and suppress these new feelings. But things change when Order 66 is called and the Jedi is forced on the run and doesn't know who to trust or if she can trust anyone ever again. With no one to turn to, scared, and alone, Valerie makes a choice to put her all of her trust in the force and reach out to anyone who might hear her plea, and someone does answer back. STAR WARS: Against the Odds follows Vella Delaba, a surviving Jedi, and her journey back into the warm embrace of the Force. After Order 66 and the closely following murder of her master, Jedi Knight Elara Me'na, Vella closed herself off from the Force. But thanks to a small youngling of Master Yoda's species and a Mandalorian bounty hunter named Din Djarin, she once again assumes her place in the Light Side. With their help, Vella is found. STAR WARS: The Lost Padawan follows the life she lived before she was lost and while she was lost. Through the tales of the Clone War and her time spent fighting alongside the Rebellion, we'll see how the Light has been calling to her for her whole life. ------------- This is a prequel of my "Against the Odds" series and the entire thing is a ton of spoilers so read that first!!! This book is just a collection of stories that take place throughout Vella's life that I really wanted to explore and share.
