Lottie's life has been sliding slowly downhill since she split up with her boyfriend, Luke. Her parents seem oblivious to her existence as they go through a divorce, her best-friend doesn't like her as much as she likes them. Her coursework is beginning to take a hold on her, and she still doesn't know what she wants to do with her life. But then Dan and Phil move into the apartment across the corridor from her, and she is intrigued by the two boys with close to matching fringes, and video cameras. Little does she know, they are just as impressed by her, as she is by them, and their friendship grows rapidly...
