After many moons of effort, Larkwing is finally a fully-fledged warrior of RoseClan. But relaxation is out of the question. With the return of cats deemed lost, a reconnaissance patrol is formed to investigate the origins and possible weaknesses of the Shadowless. Larkwing also joins them in the hope of finally finding answers to the disappearance of her foster mother. Soon the cats of the reconnaissance patrol have to travel to a distant area beyond the Clans in order to find important clues. But the things they discover there leave them speechless. Not only are they confronted with the truth about the origin of the Shadowless, but also that the world outside the Clan territories harbours a tragic secret.

The first installment of Shadowhunters as Warrior Cats. This book will follow somewhat the first Warriors book Into the Wild and the first book in the TMI series City of Bones. Also there will be a few other differences that you will see as the book moves forward. I am a fan of Malec, Clace and Sizzy so I will be trying to incorporate these ships into the book.
