My childhood best friend (Soobin)

"Why was he there, of all people?"

"Ma'am, he was there just to pick Mr. Choi up," Sophie tried to reassure me.

"Yeah, yeah, sure, whatever. Sophie, get me a glass of wine, please."

I headed to the back of the yard, carefully placing my drink down before sitting. After an exhausting day, an expensive wine was the best way to ease my mind. Scrolling through social media, I occasionally stumbled upon rumors about me and him. Comments like, "Weren't they friends?" or "I wanna know the beef between them," made my blood boil even more.

"Isn't it my business? Those people!"

I growled out of frustration and threw my iPad away.

Soobin and Viviane used to be best friends, but their friendship was broken long time ago. Now Viviane wants nothing to do with Soobin. But the universe won't let her, will it?
