"Kiss me." She whispered, looking utterly terrified, even in her drunken state.
I shut my eyes and silently cursed the universe for being this cruel.
"I want to." I said, resting my forehead against hers as the war inside me raged on. "Fuck... I want you, Brie. More than I've ever wanted anyone."
I felt, rather than heard her breathing change. I could barely hear anything over the music and the sound of blood pumping in my ears.
"But...?"
I opened my eyes and stared right into her frightened ones.
"If we do this, there's no turning back for me." I admitted. "but once the sun comes up and all the alcohol has left your system, the only thing I'll be to you is a dirty mistake."

Our paths crossed unexpectedly. She came out of complete left field and falling for her was certainly not part of my plan. Though suddenly, she became the brightest star in my universe... The only problem was Luca, her long term boyfriend. She was never mine for the taking and that should have been enough for me to back off.
I tried to, I genuinely did, but I was helplessly pulled in by an invisible force. Something about being around her felt like sunshine and once you've been stuck in the center of a never-ending storm for as long as I have, a little bit of sunshine was everything you craved.
I was gone for her, long before I knew what was happening.
She was everything I wish I didn't need.
Everything I could never really have.
I thought I was doing fine... Until I met her.

"Fuck." He whispers into my neck, sending a thrill of excitement through my body. His lips still smothered kisses over my neck and his hands roamed my body, starting at my chest, going down to my stomach. Caressing my soft skin, his thumb trailed circles on my groin before slightly slipping into the waistband of my jeans. My breath catches in my throat as I pull at the hoodie that covered his chiselled body. Understanding, Jacob pulls it off in one swift movement before attaching his lips back on my neck. Sucking and biting it before flicking his tongue over the sore spot. A quiet moan leaves my mouth and I clasp my hand over it, denying any noise to escape. Michelle's life was almost perfect. Loving family, great college, perfect grades, good friends, and a crush on one of the sweetest guys she's met. The only problem is that a local werewolf has decided she's his mate. With the struggles of falling in love and discovering things about herself she didn't know, she also gets thrown in the middle of a fued between the hunters and the hunted. ***** He finally made eye contact and I couldn't tell what he was thinking, or how he was feeling at that moment. He had me shut out. "Dad won't let her in the pack." "I know." "Are you sure she's human?" I rub my eyes again, they were really beginning to burn. "Yes, unless I've gone absolutely insane." I stopped rubbing my eyes for a moment. "Maybe I am crazy? I feel like it." Caden sighed, "That's the mate bond. The longer you go without, the worse you get." I knew that. I didn't like to think about it, but we all grew up hearing about it. Going crazy, your body shutting down. Wolves weren't meant to be separated from their Soulmates. It physically and mentally drained them until they just one day gave up. I never thought it would happen to me since it doesn't ever actually happen. We all knew better. Unfortunately my human mate did not. Caden watched me from where he sat, he knew what I was thinking, and was thinking the same himself. We didn't know how much time I had. "Well, I for one, as Alpha, would not mind a human in our midst if she is your mate." I let a small chuckle slip out and leaned back in my chair, crossing my arms. "Is it because you're so accepting of humans, or because you insist on having me as your Beta?" Caden smirked at me, "Does it matter?"

As long as I have you. *Description still in progress.* Anneliese is a sweet, kind, empathetic, and outgoing young woman. Often looking for new ways to meet friends, she wouldn't pass the opportunity to chat someone up. Even a stranger at the diner she works at. Xavier was the opposite. He preferred to sit alone and neglect any open conversation. It's strange he's taking a liking to someone so opposite of him, but once he's gotten a glimpse of her contagious smile he can't seem to get enough. ~ ❀ ~ I can't help but stare at her. Her face, lips, and smile, and her nose. Even her long, curled lashes. "Let's do a butterfly kiss!" She exclaims, pulling my face close suddenly. Kiss? My heart hammers in my chest, my breath hitching. Her small hands hold my face close to hers. It's not very forceful, I could pull away if I wanted to, but I let her have control. Her hands are warm and soft against my jaw. Getting closer, her eyes lashes flutter and I find myself holding my breath. She brushes her lashes to mine, her breath fanning against my lips. Subconsciously, I lean forward, wanting my lips to be on hers. June flutter her lashes, grazing her lashes to mine. Out of nowhere she bursts out in a fit of laughter. I flinch back. Butterfly kiss. That was not a fucking kiss. ~ ❀ ~ *Warning* Mature themes will be covered (language, actions, etc).
