Lauren and her parents moved to New Jersey from Miami when she was two. They move next to her cousin, Ally, who introduces her to their neighbor, Camila Cabello. As they get older, Camila and Lauren become best friends, constantly having sleepovers or hanging out. Lauren is a quiet one though. She's very shy and gets bullied pretty easily but Camila is always by her side. When they're eight, they meet two girls named Dinah and Normani.
