Okay so instead of it being called Monster, like it was to begin with, I changed it to Our Painful Past.
Why?
Well because I decided to make Our Painful Past about many short stories that come to my head in the middle of the night about people and their past (obviously)
Note: none of these stories go with each other, each one has their own story, problem and past.

The name is Pain, I am a demon, but don't be quick to judge. You humans attach beliefs to someone the instant your eyes fall upon them simply because of what you think you know. I create monsters, but unlike other demons you may know of, I give my monsters what they want, what they think they need to be happy. Have you ever seen your life flash before your eyes? Seen all the good memories with you and your friends and loved ones just pass in a few split seconds before the moment comes where you know you'll die? Where you determine if it's going to be a quick or slow and painful death? Well then, same. I risk my life on a daily bases saving others, strangers, kids, families, anyone my team and I can help ranging from terrorist attacks to bombs to pretty much anything. The training that I received a few years ago allows me to do that, it allows me to be the best person that I can be, if I could go back to the day I joined the military I wouldn't change a single thing; the only thing I would've changed in my journey is to have looked after her better. Riona. In case you haven't guessed by now, that's me. This is my story. And I'm going to start from the very beginning, so you can get the full picture. They say we're not defined by our past. But I believe that the past is what makes you who you are. It moulds you. It sticks with you no matter how far ahead in life you get. And then, it catches up to you, putting you in a chokehold you can't possibly get out of. In my case, my past is very messy. I don't like it, but I also can't seem to shake it off. Almost ten years down the line, and I'm still in the same position, making the same decisions. I thought I'd changed. I thought I was better.
