It was just a kiss, a stupid fucking kiss. Thats what Alex was trying to convince himself after his longtime enemy - and roommate - kissed him at the New Years party. 

Alex and Henry had been rivals since Freshman year of college, competing and hating. But a single kiss throws the way Alex had known college life off.

How will things change, and how will the new way shine a new light.

So this is a Red, White, and Royal Blue story, taking inspiration but not using how the real book goes. If you have not read the book, I would suggest it, and Casey McQuiston is an incredible author.

The story will have references from the book, along with some characters besides just Henry and Alex. It will take place at a University in the US. For story purposes, they will have been roommates throughout the whole time at college, because that is what I think will work. 

There might be sexual scenes, although I've never written anything like that, so who knows
