Lance doesn't remember much from around 5 years old to his current age, he can't remember anything from before then but he can remember very evidently the gates of hell that he walked through on a basis. A man by the name "Joseph" on Earth is someone who he's never trusted, he holds mystery and danger. For as long as he could remember he's been different, almost foreign in a way to Humans as if he doesn't belong where he is and truth be told, he doesn't belong on Earth. Shrouded in mystery and terrified of his past, he goes to space hoping to escape the terrors that haunt him so much that he can barely sleep at night but this trip to space is not one of freedom, it's survival. Tasked as a defender of the universe and a personal task to himself to keep his past and everything involving it secret goes head to toe with danger at every turn, invoking old habits and setting his nerves high and strained does everything he can to keep things from being known as best as possible and it seems that the best way to escape his past of terrors is for those secrets to be known and maybe he may even figure out where he belongs and who he truly is.
