But memories were that of a life that you wish you could look back on, even when a wall of black dots and white walls were the obstacle that prevented you from seeing what belonged to you, even in the palms of someone else's hands of malicious intent. It was a problem, and one Lance desperately struggled with. Given the unfortunate circumstance of amnesia that made him forget everything from five and below, he is stuck in a constant loop of torment, pain, and loss. Fear became the one thing that held him into a blanket with its edges sealed tightly by the control from the one parent who gave him the most torment.

Scared of the past and the secrets he held deep, if his home life wasn't already harsh, society was harder and much more fierce with the rules and how its organized. Class and rank were everything to those with authority, but those who weren't up to par were often led and dragged across the mud and dirt like nothing of importance.

A shit society, but one that one could easily escape when given the opening to a better chance of uncovering shocking past secrets, and a life that was forcibly taken from him, but not only does he learn about himself, he learns much more sinister and darker secrets about the one person who gave him the most pain that anyone else.
