What Cal assumes will be his death turns out very differently, however, when he actually meets the dragon-a surprisingly human-looking and handsome creature called Idriseth-and very quickly becomes enamored with him. Cal may have come to steal the dragon's book, but now he wants to steal his heart. But will the always guarded Idriseth let him? Can a dragon even love a human?
