Wrong place, wrong time. That's the phrase that seemed to define Xarene's life.

The drow had made their way from the Underdark in the hopes of finding a living, growing tired of their life begging and stealing. In what felt like mere moments after picking up another contract as a monster hunter, they went from the life they knew to something much more dangerous.

Made an unwilling host to a mind flayer's tadpole, Xarene has to fight against time to find a cure. Not just for themselves, but for others they encountered along the way...

(I only own Xarene and Lanrel, Baldur's Gate III belongs to Larain Studios and Wizards of the Coast. Millirana belongs to @starrlilyyyy. Cover may be updated, still gathering screenshots of Xarene)

After saving the city and getting rid of the tadpole, Talin, a skilled storm sorceress who was born and grew up in a privilege, comes home to Baldur's Gate, where strict expectations of the city's upper class and the pressure of her noble responsibilities await her. She made strong connections during her journey and found love amidst the chaos. But at home, she and Astarion have to face not only bias against creatures of the night but also the expectations placed upon Talin. As they dig into Astarion's past and search for a cure for his vampiric affliction, they have to figure out how much they're willing to risk for a chance at a life together in a society where going against the norm could be disastrous. Hi there! This is my first fanfiction and I've never written anything like this, but I love this game and I love fantasy and RPGs so I wanted to try this out and started writing for myself. I really enjoyed writing it, so I decided to share it and I hope you'll enjoy it too. If you do, feel free to drop a comment :) I'm doing my best to stay true to the Forgotten Realms lore, but I might miss a few things here and there. Disclaimer: I want to make it clear that I don't own any of the Baldur's Gate 3 characters. They belong to their creators. But Talin and any other original characters you meet here are my own. Note: Some chapters reveal moments from the game, so be careful if you don't want any spoilers.

Run, Canary, Run

18 parts Complete

Finch would rather run. Not a course of action they're particularly proud of, but it works. Instead, they've found themself indebted to a mercenary group. Again. The unusual party of six may prove more useful, but truthfully, anything is better than the Zhent. All canon Baldur's Gate content does not belong to me.
