Stolen truths

"Who are you? Let me go!" I scream, my body trembling with guilt.

Why did I do this again? Why was I so selfish?

"It's payback, linds. Everything was going just great until you and Jess decided to switch places!"

"You stole everything from us, and you stole the truth. Jess and I deserved to know."

"You have to do this, you have no choice."

Maybe I do, maybe I do have a choice. But, that's not what I say.

"Okay."

Because I'm going to steal the stolen truth.
