Based off of the popular TV show "Dexter", this story takes place in an alternate universe where, instead of Dexter, Debra Morgan is the sibling with a dark secret.
Seeing her father die in front of her deeply affected Debra, giving her a desire for blood. To counter this, her adoptive father Harry Morgan taught her to direct this desire in another direction to fight crime, and bring justice to those who slipped through the cracks.
But how long can Debra keep up the act? One way or another, someone's gonna find out about her darkness, and when they do, everything will fall apart. It's up to her to decide if she wants to continue down this path, or leave it behind.

The drawing she just found was a realistic depiction of myself smiling at the person who saw it. Unlike myself, who felt joy and inspiration from seeing father draw me this, mother was scared witless. Her legs became jelly, her body was paralyzed.
