Zepotha: the supposed lost 80's horror flick of everyone's childhood. But if this movie is so well known, why can't anyone find traces of its existence? This was the question everyone had in the first few hours after tiktok user @emilyjeffri proposed an idea: "what if we created a fake 80s horror movie called 'Zepotha' and started commenting 'omg you look EXACTLY like that one girl from Zepotha...'"

In less than 24 hours, the trend had spread to all corners of the app. It became much more than just a fun little trick- but instead, a complex storyline and set of characters created by thousands of different people, all joining together to convince the Internet that this movie truly existed.
