This saga is about an evil witch and wizard couple creating an object called the Black Emerald, which they use to take over Planet Sapphire. When a powerful kingdom, Mae, arrives at the northwestern quadrant of the planet, Warstraw, one of the royal mages, casts a spell that turns the Black Emerald out of the couple's control. A prophecy from the Black Emerald calls the attention of 24 beings who fulfill a promise of serenity, certainty, and the feeling of being unchained and send the evil duo to the World of the Inanimate and Animate, a mysterious place of living and dead beings that can be human, spirit, or any mythological creature!

Crown Princess Leonore, heir to the queendom of Dranath, likes women, obviously. The Queen Mother Carmilla marries her off to Sir Gabriel, obviously. So when she finds out Sir Gabriel is a woman... Dranath; queendom of mystique, bordered by jealous allies. To the southwest, the states of Aurune. East is the coast and the maritime poleis of Raham. To the north, the Hierstag clans. Rich in land and crop and poor in everything else, the queendom is closed in from all fronts. And when the sword of years-long grudges is brought to bear, who will play it to the hilt? ------------------------------ i wanted to say that this book is my love letter to imperialism, but it's actually lovingly crafted hatemail non-anonymously submitted to imperialism's tumblr asks. this is an exploration of how much suffering one can propagate in order to achieve one's goal, and the degree in which your decisions can be justified (even only to yourself!) before you become, essentially, irredeemable; an exercise in Is It Worth It Though yeah there's magic(k) in this one. and a lot of geopolitics! might have gotten carried away with the geopolitics. come for the gay, stay for the political machinations. or come for the political machinations and stay for the gay, i dont mind. 3rd person pov, leonore-centric, no homophobia (at least, not the kind we usually see), i want to say butch/femme but honestly it's butch gabriel/whatever the hell leonore is. folk anti-hero narrative or villain origin story, you decide

Lily & Rose: Blossoming Magic

Magic amplifies feelings, feelings amplify magic. Users of magic should be careful that their heads are cool and their hearts are calm when using magic. It's really tough for Naturals, who are using magic all the time, no matter if they're thinking about it or not. Lilia Martinson has always wanted to be a mage from an early age. From an early childhood, Lilia has also loved girls - a fact that she has not kept hidden until recently when she turned 17. And now, she's going to attend a school for magically gifted people. But then she bumps into a Rose Caldwell, a pink-haired girl who appears cold and distant, almost rudely so. Lilia can't keep her eyes away from her, though. In a world where powerful feelings can literally kill, falling in love sounds like a bad idea gone worse for a Natural. But, you "Can't Help Falling in Love with You..." #1 in The Rainbow Awards in Romance category. Got 100/100 points!
