In the darkness, bugs always seemed to find the light. Whether it be the light from the T.V or a bright fluorescent bulb on the porch, they would always somehow find it. Nobody truly knew what makes these little bugs want to slam themselves repeatedly against the light. Maybe, it's for navigation and they are just looking for a way home? Or perhaps, they are trying to escape a predator?

DARK ROMANCE! My back hit the wall, I was trembling in fear because of his close proximity. He was so angry that his veins were popping out from his neck, his jaw was clenched. I didn't dare to look at his eyes. "look at me!" I didn't muster the courage to look at his evil eyes so i kept my head low, squeezing myself in the wall. His hot and raged breath was fanning my face. In an instance he moved closer flushing his body against mine. A whimper left my mouth and I put my hands on his chest to create some distance but he didn't even budge. Chloe:M-mov-e away.. The next moment he punched the wall so hard just right next to my head, and I close my eyes in fear as new set of tears welled up in my eyes. I've seen this house a million times but for some reason, tonight with the all the lights on in this darkness, it seems like more than just a house. It seems like a story. One of those old books that you would find in an old library, with the vintage spines and the yellowing pages. It looks like it's hundreds of years old and as if it's been held but a countless number of hands. But in those tattered, decaying pages, there is a sort of beauty to it. I'd always heard the voices. From being a young child when the doctors had long since given up trying to find a cause, the voices woke me, screaming, in the night. But then, they began to guide me. When I started to find the dead bodies - animals, children - I was called a psychic. I was used to help, but I could only find what the voices wanted to show me. But then, one day, the killer chose another victim. It chose me, and only the voices could save me. Except, they weren't just voices. They were.... - Whilst on a long (7.5) hour flight to Wattpad HQ in Toronto, I was watching the film Solace. Part way through, an idea threw itself into my mind and I had to stop the film and start writing immediately. I also had another idea later on, again which I had to write down. This is the first of those ideas and is written for the #OnceUponNow promotion. Don't worry, Red Queen is being worked on too, but sometimes you just need to purge yourself of a story to be able to continue on with another.مكتمِلة

Because the brighter the light is, the darker the shadow caused. It's patient, it's persistent, it's relentless. It is everywhere. Originally named the Brighter the Light, the Darker the Shadow but the name was too name... If that name pops up anywhere, you know what it means now, because TBTL, TDTS might still be the name used somewhere throughout the book but I have no idea where all of it is and therefore don't really want to change it.مكتمِلة
