Alexis Jane Morgan is an intelligent 18 year old girl who by some miracle manages to score herself a job with the one and only Howard Stark.
She wants to help her country in the war, the war that took her father's life. She wants to design and build weapons that can help defend the brave soldiers and the men who fought by her father's side until his death.
But when the war ends and Captain America is lost, Howard begins to try and recreate the serum that changed Steve Roger's life forever, but when Howard leaves Alexis to find the missing Captain America he entrusts her with continuing his work. One clumsy accident later and Alexis wakes up in hospital a month after, but she isn't the same.

The Sister

Emma is the twin sister of Clint Barton. Nobody in Shield apart from Natasha knows that she exists, trained in rooms of Shield and is a full agent, working away from the Avengers. Only, on her mission, back on homeland, things have gone wrong. Clint gets the dreaded call that his sister has been shot. After waiting hours on her coming out of surgery, Emma is brought to the tower, where he insists she will be staying, until they find out what happened on the mission. As Fury has put them onto this, finding information that it was an inside job. Things take a turn, with Emma finding she fits in there, and belongs, along with finding a handsome soldier that she can't stop herself from being attracted too. But will things blossom? Or will things not get the chance. Can she find happiness in her life, after what has happened? Or will things go from bad to worse?
