~ "How am I supposed to forget?" I breathe heavily with tears rolling down my face. "I held her in my arms...and she was dead. Who knew that that day was the last time I would ever see her?" She gracefully hands me a tissue to wipe the tears from my eyes. "And right then and there...that was the final moment I would ever spend with her in my arms." ~ You've heard of superheroes and their origin stories on how they became to be, right? But have you ever heard of a superhero gone wrong? Well, that's where this story begins with a typical hero who goes by the name of Silent Sanity, he's as sane and normal as they get. Nothing spectacular about him. Fighting unruly criminals, saving old women from crazy traffic and all the 'typical hero things'. All seems fine and dandy until one day, he ends up coming across this complete nutcase wearing a black hood and no face to be seen. He manages to brainwash him into getting into a plane and spraying this spray that makes everyone turn psycho and kill each other. The only ones who survive are the ones who are inside. A teenage boy, Desmond Foxx, walks among thousand of dead bodies everywhere. He doesn't know what happened, he is the only one living from New York City. He soon finds out that he is not alone, turns out there are about 400,000 other people still left in North America, that's not much, but that's enough to know he's not the only one left. He finds his girlfriend on the ground covered in deep cuts and dry blood. As this memory of holding his dead girlfriend in his arms haunts him, this only makes him as the perfect person to become the leader of an organization, called Insane Sanity, containing those who are left in North America, to rise up and defeat Silent Sanity and the mysterious faceless man from using the spray to kill the rest of the world. Will the Insane Sanity organization succeed? Read more and find out.
