A roar sounded in my ears and I was thrown to the ground.

I looked up and saw the most beautiful man I've ever seen.

Mate.

"We got ourselves a jackpot!" Adelina sang happily.

He gazed back at me before his eyes widened for a fraction before narrowing back down and sneered.

He looked like how I looked like when I step on shit.

"Doesn't look like the feeling's mutual" I said bitterly to Lina.

Then he spoke.

"Princess, you're still alive? I thought I killed you already." he purred.

My eyes widened in horror and disbelief about what he just said.

"Eh. What's one more try." He shrugged.

He glanced at the wolves all around us then back at me.

"Kill her." he said before walking away.

But not today, it was so dark, all I could see was a suffocating darkness around me. Aria my wolf huffed in annoyance when even she couldn't see a thing or couldn't pick up a scent around us. 'Ophelia, what's happening?' she muttered. 'I don't know' I whispered back aloud. The words had barely left my mouth when I heard something running quickly in our direction. I ran, not knowing what direction I was going. I tripped over something and fell flat on my face. Feeling a presence behind me I screamed and tried to crawl away...
