this is a 2doc angst fanfic that takes place sorta near/in Plastic Beach and basically this is how I think Gorillaz would go/might have gone if 2D didn't come back for Murdoc in The Lost Chord (if you haven't seen it music video you'll need to watch it for context). basically Murdoc is gonna be holding a grudge for a long time lmfao. It's quite overwhelming for the singer to take on his many new tasks as the new leader but he's doing his best to make the band proud. While looking for a bassist to temporarly replace murdoc he ends up meeting ace. At first the two are just friends and bandmates but in soon enough time the two become much more then just bandmates. FYI just to clear up confusion. These first of all are my comfort versions of the band. And second of all this is in no way following canon so if you don't like that i'm sorry. Memory!tale and comfort!village are worlds made by me!
