But things take a turn for the worse when she gains possession of an old book that belonged to Morgan, and strange and otherworldly beings start hunting her down - and Brenna is suddenly thrust from her world into the world of Apherea, a realm she had created herself through the art of writing.

Now with the threat of a dangerous war on the cusp of erupting, Brenna and Caroline's story is only beginning. And with the possibility of further calamity on the horizon, it's up to them and their conjoined allies to unite in order to defeat the dark force over Apherea.
