They say connections make us all. Whether it be the connection of friendship; of family; or even more platonic connections, like a workplace. But for (Y/n) (L/n), someone who made connections on the dime, he'd soon realize that not all connections were for the best. And he'd come to realize such on his very first day of Public Safety, when he comes across a person named Makima. A lot happens, and will definitely shape his life into multiple different directions. The only question in, will he let her in, or face the consequences of a misleading connection?

In her younger years, Touko Kobayashi's path takes a sharp turn after a devil hunter intervenes in a life-altering event. Driven by a night of tragedy that left her feeling powerless, she embraces the world of devil hunting, determined to protect others and leave her own dark past behind, even if it means putting her life at risk impulsively at times. Her journey intertwines her fate with Aki, Denji, and Power, leading to a shared home and the forging of a new team. Living together, Touko grows closer to Aki, uncovering the warmth beneath his guarded exterior. Their relationship deepens, yet it's laced with complexity as their fears and vulnerabilities often lead to a push-and-pull dynamic, each ready to lay down their lives for the other in the face of danger. Touko finds herself in a hard struggle, battling her insecurities and the daunting task of balancing her feelings for Aki with her desire to save him from a seemingly unavoidable end. *READER DISCRETION ADVISED* This story includes descriptive sensitive and mature content! tw: violence, fluff, smut, sensitive language ⊹ non-canon; some based off of Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man's plot but not entirely ⊹ slow-burn (ish) ⊹ aki hayakawa x female oc ⊹ will try to keep characters' personalities as close as possible ❝ how could you? i love you, damn it.. ❝ Past Rankings: #3 hayakawa #2 akihayakawa #2 akixreader #1 hayakawaaki

An AU of the series Chainsaw Man with the main character Denji replaced by my popular cosmic traveling OC named James Ann Russomanno Da Sicilia. Currently posted on Wattpad, Webnovel, and in the process of being published on Royal Road (If my request is finally accepted..) Always in search of adventure and intriguing opportunities, our seemingly young man finds himself in the world shared by humanity and Devils. After dispatching the Zombie Devil, James meets a mysterious but strangely alluring woman by the name of Makima. A generous offer is made to defend the public from Devils, to which he is unknowingly sucked into a span of time that will test his sanity. This idea comes from the thought of having a more sophisticated and compassionate character take the main stage, able to have proper conversation and make genuine bonds. The chaotic ideas swirling in my mind have inspired me to explore the depths of character connections, particularly branching out from Denji. For instance, Himeno is an intriguing character, yet her departure prevents a deeper bond from forming with Denji. While her tragic end adds weight to the narrative, James, in contrast, thrives on forging connections, and I envision meaningful conversations between him and her before the end. To counterbalance the despair, he will also experience lighter, more wholesome moments with the vibrant cast-some surprises await! This opens up vast possibilities for the story. Lives that seem lost may be saved, while others that appear secure could be taken away. New scenes could emerge to enrich the lore of The Cosmic Traveler. I eagerly anticipate this journey through action, tragedy, morality, manipulation, betrayal, and the complexities of a world where humanity and Devils inevitably clash around one man with the power to either cultivate peace or unleash controlled chaos.

Aki has always hated fiends and devils. How could he not, after what happened to him? What he had to experience? They were dirty, selfish, downright inhumane, and in his opinion, they didn't deserve to live. If he could, he'd murder them all in an instant. So, why the hell did his heart beat so loud whenever he saw her? Someone who was so heavenly, pure, and innocent - despite being a part of the very kind he despised. Someone he wouldn't have hesitated to get rid of, if he hadn't gotten to know her. If he hadn't fallen in love. If only he hadn't met her, if only he killed her when given the chance - maybe then, he would've been able to forgive himself for falling for a girl that wasn't human. - ᴄʜᴀɪɴꜱᴀᴡ ᴍᴀɴ. ᴀᴋɪ x ꜰᴇᴍ! ᴏᴄ.
