How do you balance helping others and helping yourself? Jesse seems to not ask himself this question enough, as he gets consumed by work being the Hero in Residence for Beacon Town. More work gets added when a portal opens close to Beacon Town, and from it emerges the White Pumpkin. Though this foe isn't the same as the one the Order fought before. This one was very familiar.
WARNING: This is a first edit/draft version so things are susceptible to change and edits are a regular! Once the story is finished I will post the final version on Ao3!
