When Kuroo first meets Kageyama during a practice match between Nekoma and Karasuno, he is fascinated not only by Tobi's blue eyes but also by his playing skills.
After the practice match ends, Kuroo vows to stop Kageyama and Hinata's quick attack the next time they face off. A very special rivalry then develops between Karasuno's number 9 and the Nekoma captain.
Karasuno is invited to the summer training camp at Nekoma High School in Tokyo, and the rivalry between the two black-haired players seems to really blossom. But suddenly, Kageyama's behavior changes drastically, leaving Kuroo with a big mystery to solve.
Will Kuroo uncover the whole truth behind Kageyama's strange behavior?
