The Puppeteer, with the slightest twitch of his finger he could will his puppet into doing whatever he wishes. You would never think that such an art set up to entertain the children would become a kingdom's worst nightmare.

He started with the king. Took his body and caged his soul so that there was but a puppet left. From there it was easy for him to dub himself king and begin his take over.

Anyone in the castle had been strung up as puppets and once he was done there he continued on to the upper class. The nobles never stood a chance and were quickly overtaken. Anyone lower was now very aware of the situation. Chaos ensued and people fled. Some were lucky, while others watched as loved ones walked about as a shell of their former selves.

All that remains are the puppets and the people who fight back. Though not large, enough people have gathered to take down the puppeteer and free those enraptured in his strings.

The key to victory just so happened to be with the free. A boy who was immune to the control and who by chance would capture the puppeteer's heart. Will the love that has embedded itself in the two boys be enough to save everyone?

The room was pitch black but I could still see his handsome face. And even if I were put in a crowd and blindfolded, I would still be able to find him. His musky scent wafted across the bed to my nose. My favorite scent in the world. His eyes were on my face and I stared back. It felt like we were communicating with our eyes. Mine was saying "why won't you love me back?" and I was sure that his was saying "why is this dork staring at me?". At the sad thought I closed my eyes and took solace in the silence in the room, calming my raging emotions and fighting the threatening tears. I was half successful when I heard his deep voice. My eyes fluttered open at once as if they had been waiting for him to speak. "I'm sorry for what I said about you earlier" "It's fine" I managed to croak "I was scared and confused but not anymore" I did not understand what he meant. I looked at his face at the other side of the bed trying to decipher what he was trying to say but his face was blank. "Goodnight Marco" he said and closed his eyes. I lay in the same position, looking at the now sleeping figure. I was confused and curious. What do you mean by not anymore? I asked in my mind as if he could somehow hear me. But he couldn't. And I wasn't brave enough to ask. Afraid that my heart would be shattered again by the same person I had fallen madly in love with. The only person my soul longed for. The only person my body lusted for. I lay in that position, watching him sleep till my eyes gave up and closed on their own. ****************************************************** VOTE

"Pathetic." His father breathes out. Charming scoffs and pushes the elder's sword away, bending down to grip his knees, regaining his breath. "I'm better than most the kingdom, I wager on it. I just can't beat you." Charming spits out. "You haven't gone against anybody but me, so how would you know?" His father's bulbous body passes in front of him towards the sitting quarters, skin red and flaming. "If I'd be allowed to leave my quarters freely, maybe I'd have someone else to practice with so I wouldn't take up your precious time, your majesty." He straightens up and walks over by his father, sitting down without being told. "You offend me, son. Do you not think I cherish these sessions?" Charming lifted an accusing brow, disbelief written plainly on his face. The King shook his head, exasperated.
