Lyra and Lyle Grey return to Hogwarts for their sixth year. 

The events from their fifth year have taken them down different paths and left the once closely bonded twins at odds with each other. They have different friends and different expectations.

One wanting to wield the power of the repository and the other wanting to keep it safe until they learn more. Lyra, wanting to find out if she can safely use it to remove a curse that has befallen the twin sister of her best friend, Sebastian Sallow. Lyle, wanting to wield it to gain the power to protect those he loves from the looming threat of death that hangs over them constantly. 

Will they learn to work together or will the rift between them grow further until they're torn apart forever? 

This is a post Hogwarts Legacy story that will contain some spoilers from the game as it references past events that take place, mainly Sebastian's storyline and endgame content.


All characters are 16+ starting out will be 18+ by the end of the story as we progress through sixth and seventh years and after. 

This is a complete rewrite of my original fic "Crossing Grey Lines" as I didn't feel like the story I wanted to tell was coming through and the whole thing was a mess, so I decided the best thing to do was scrap it and start over. 

This is a darker story that will contain mature themes that may not be suitable for all readers, thus all chapters containing mature content will be marked with a *.
