The young lord Zabu doesn't debate with his problems, he beams them. 

From youth he has lead a strange life. His father , Lord Vedro is a grizzled warlord turned duke who has him do pushups by the hundred. The apple of his eye (his maid) has a strange fascination for Umbrellas with sword like edges and Granny Badu, a sage that lives in the attic spends her free time  throwing him against the bounds of reality.

Even still, with a magical beam capable of perishing any that stands in his way
